Kibing Technology R&D Center consists of glass innovation center, glass new product R&D center, glass/refractory testing center, and industrialization engineering center. In order to implement the development strategy of Kibing Group, it has achieved leapfrog development through talent introduction, scientific research innovation and industrial expansion. At present, phased results have been achieved in the fields of float glass upgrading, nano-functional film materials, smart glass, photovoltaic glass, and electronic medicinal glass. The center has introduced more than 20 high-level innovative talents in the glass industry, including many doctors and masters, cultivated a large number of outstanding young and middle-aged technical talents, and created an innovative team of Kibing Glass. Kibing Technology R&D Center has won one national new product, two provincial second prizes for scientific and technological progress, more than 150 authorized patents, and participated in the drafting and formulation of 16 national industry standards. In 2016, it was recognized as "Fujian Provincial Key Laboratory of Float Glass New Materials", in 2017, it was recognized as "Fujian Functional Glass Enterprise Engineering Technology Research Center", and in 2020, it was recognized as "Fujian Functional Glass Engineering Research Center", Obtained CNAS certification in 2020.
