Kibing Group was invited to attend the first desert ecological photovoltaic power station construction forum

The first (2021) Desert Ecological Photovoltaic Power Station Construction Forum and Inner Mongolia Dalat Leader Photovoltaic Sand Control Project Observation Meeting will be held on July 29-31, 2021 in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia. This event is jointly sponsored by China Photovoltaic Industry Association and China Investment Association, and undertaken by China Investment Association Training Center. Zhuzhou Kibing Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Kibing Group") participated in this event as a co-organizer and gave a keynote speech.

From July 29th to 30th, the two-day first (2021) Desert Ecological Photovoltaic Power Station Construction Forum was successfully held in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia. More than 400 representatives of enterprises from all over the country in industries such as , testing, etc. attended the meeting.


Liu Yiyang, Deputy Secretary General of China Photovoltaic Industry Association, and Zhang Yonggui, Vice President of China Investment Association attended the forum and delivered opening speeches. In the following two days, the forum was divided into three themes, namely, the current situation of photovoltaic development in China and the prospect of desert ecological photovoltaics, the construction and equipment selection of desert ecological photovoltaic power plants, and the construction and operation and maintenance of desert ecological photovoltaic power plants.

Dr. Wan Junpeng, Technical Director of Kibing Group's Photovoltaic Glass Division, was invited to give a keynote speech on "Application Advantages of New Generation Ultra-white Float Photovoltaic Glass in High-efficiency Modules". The ultra-white float photovoltaic glass newly developed by Kibing Group for crystalline silicon photovoltaic modules has the advantages of high transmittance, not easy to accumulate dust, good weather resistance, light, thin, high strength, and large size. Dr. Wan gave a detailed introduction on these five advantages and conducted in-depth exchanges with experts from all parties participating in the forum.

On July 31, the organizer organized a total of more than 100 participants to drive to the Dalat Banner photovoltaic power generation application leading base, which is 200 kilometers away from Hohhot, to visit and exchange. The base is located in the Kubuqi Desert in Ordos, Inner Mongolia, with a planned total area of 100,000 mu, a planned photovoltaic power station scale of 2 million kilowatts, and a planned total investment of 15 billion yuan. It was approved by the National Energy Administration in November 2017. Construction began in January, and has built 1 million kilowatts (1GW) so far, with an annual power generation capacity of 2 billion kWh.


The leading base for photovoltaic power generation applications in Dalat Banner, through ecological sand control and photovoltaic sand control, combined with agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and tourism, in order to achieve the goal of "sands, blue ocean, oasis", while controlling deserts, it can also drive local farmers. To become rich, to achieve a win-win situation of economic and social benefits, to explore a benign model of desert governance that can be replicated and sustainable, and to make great contributions to beautiful China.

The new generation of ultra-white float photovoltaic glass launched by Kibing Group has high transmittance, smooth surface and not easy to accumulate dust, and the power generation of desert power station has been greatly improved. In addition, it has the advantages of good weather resistance and high strength, which is more suitable for the application of desert photovoltaic power plants.


Kibing Group will continue to strengthen product research and development, actively promote the application of ultra-white float glass in desert photovoltaic power plants, and make newer and greater contributions to the development of desert power plants and the improvement of the ecological environment! Make positive contributions to China's "carbon peak, carbon neutrality"!
