At 11:08 am on October 31, 2023, SBH Kibing Solar New Materials (M) SDN. BHD.(hereinafter referred to as "Sabah Kibing Solar") held a grand ceremony in KKIP (Sabah Industrial Development Zone), Sabah, Malaysia. Celebrating the successful commissioning of the first production line of the solar glass project.

Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Haji Hajiji Bin Haji Noor, China Consulate General in Kota Kinabalu ShiFang Huang, Kibing Group’s actual controller Qibing Yu, and Minister of Industrial Development and Enterpreneurship Datuk Jinzhe Phong and other officials at all levels attended the ceremony to witness the successful ignition of the Sabah solar glass project. This ignition ceremony not only marked the official launch of the solar glass project, but also demonstrated the results of the joint efforts of the Sabah government and the business community. At the same time, it also officially opened a new chapter in the layout of Kibing's global solar glass industry.

Xinxi Yao, assistant to the president of Kibing Group, delivered an important speech at the ceremony. He said that Kibing Group is an innovative high-tech company integrating R&D, production and sales of high-quality float glass, energy-saving architectural glass, low-iron ultra-white glass, solar glass, electronic glass, and neutral borosilicate medicinal glass. Kibing Group has a complete industrial chain advantage and advanced production technology. In the future, Kibing Group will make full use of Sabah's resource advantages, establish a close partnership with Sabah's industry, and work together to transform resource advantages into industrial advantages, create more employment opportunities for the Sabah region, and promote the prosperity and development of the local economy.

Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Haji Hajiji Bin Haji Noor also delivered a passionate speech. He said that the Sabah government will continue to optimize the business environment and provide convenient policies, comprehensive support and guidance to Kibing to ensure the smooth operation of Sabah photovoltaic projects.

The historic moment when Sabah Kibing Solar was successfully ignited and put into production marked the beginning of a new journey for Kibing's overseas solar glass industry. Kibing Solar will also work closely with the Sabah region to actively participate in achieving the global goals of "carbon neutrality" and "carbon peaking", contribute to the sustainable development of Malaysia and the global photovoltaic industry, and work together to create a green and beautiful world.
